Tunwell Family

William Dean (1719 – 1763) of Great Shelford in Cambridgeshire, my 5th GGF, married Constance Tunwell in 1747 at St. Catherine Hall Chapel, Cambridge. Thus, the Deans became linked with the Tunwells.

Constance came from a very well-known and sometimes, well-off, family in Great Shelford, but originally from Fulbourn, a few miles to the west.

With the help of a number of colleagues, I´ve pieced together much the story of the Tunwell family in Cambridgeshire.
